Multiple Users on one Computer?
More than one person using the same computer to access
"Lonely Hearts"
can create problems if it is not managed properly.
This is because your browser saves 'images' of pages you have visited to your hard rive
(termed 'caching') so that it can load pages you revisit more quickly.
This can lead to one user pulling up information from another user's session done early
that day.
The best way to avoid that someone can see where you have been on the internet is to clear
that cache.
To do so if you use Netscape as your browser click on:
1. Option or view 2. Preferences 3. Advanced 4. Clear memory cache.
In Navigator 4 click on "Communicator" than "History"
and clear the files you wanted to.
To do so if you use Explorer as your Browser click on:
1. 'View/Options/Advanced" menu item 2. 'View Files' button, 3. 'Settings' button,
4. 'Empty Folder' button.
In Explorer 4 just click on the "History" button and clear
the files you wanted to.
If you do this it will assure you that your activities stay totally
independent from the other user and minimizes the chances that your information will be
seen by the other user(s).
Also PLEASE do not use someone else's email address as your own even if
you are using their computer!!!
